Rev. Edwin Marroquin Assistant Superintendent
Ordained since 1997. Born in the Republic of El Salvador. In 1983 he moved to Washington DC where God called him to ministry. He completed his studies in Bible from Central Bible College. It was at this school where he met Toni Akins and with whom they have four children. He is also a 2023 graduate of AGTS with a master's degree in Pastoral Leadership. In 1994, he and his wife moved to Saint Louis, MO to plant Abundant Life Christian Community. In 1997, they planted the New Life Christian Community and in 2003 they planted the Maranatha Christian Community which they pastor to the present. Edwin has served as a Missouri sectional elder, and currently as an executive elder and as director of Home and World Missions. Edwin has a passion for missions and church planting. He believes that every human being should have the opportunity to hear the gospel message at least once in his or her life.
